[Dialogue] The Global South from the Grassroots: Local Governments and New Cooperation Agendas

Against the backdrop of changing dynamics in international cooperation and governance, local and regional governments in the Global South are playing an increasingly important role in developing local responses to global challenges. The session brings together representatives from local governments, municipal associations, multilateral organizations and strategic partners to discuss new agendas for cooperation, multilevel governance, sustainable territorial development and mechanisms for decentralized cooperation.
