Strategy post 2030 Agenda: Local Multilateralism for Peace.

As the international community looks beyond 2030, local and regional governments are increasingly shaping responses to global challenges. This strategic dialogue will explore how renewed multilateralism can better reflect territorial realities and strengthen peace, inclusion and democratic governance. Building on recent UN processes and local government advocacy, the session will advance a collective vision for stronger local participation in international decision-making and the future of global governance.

 

Coalitions for Local Innovation.

Innovation requires partnerships capable of turning ideas into action.This session explores how local and regional governments can work with international organizations, innovation ecosystems and development partners to accelerate solutions that respond to territorial priorities. Through political dialogue and strategic launches, participants will examine how collaboration, investment and peer learning can support the testing, deployment and scaling of innovative approaches that advance sustainable and inclusive local development.
