This session presents Guangzhou’s comprehensive practices in building an electrified transportation system, covering public transit, taxis, freight transport and autonomous driving. It introduces the large-scale deployment of charging infrastructure, policy support and multi-sector governance. The session highlights how electrification enhances urban energy security, reduces carbon emissions and improves mobility efficiency. It aims to share replicable solutions for global cities to pursue green, low-carbon and resilient transport development.
