#Local4Action Lab

Convened by UCLG, in collaboration with the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN-OHCHR), and the Global Platform for the Right to the City (GPR2C),

This session brings together cities from the UCLG-CISDPDH campaign “10, 100, 1000 Human Rights Cities & Territories by 2030” to explore how local and regional governments can advance the global human rights agenda through renewed commitments and innovative action. Drawing on the New Charter-Agenda for Human Rights in the City and the Guidance Framework for Creating a Human Rights City, the discussion examines how human rights principles can anchor care-centered, inclusive public services and participatory governance — translating global frameworks into just, resilient communities.
